I just updated to the new version but forms crash (doesnt show up at all) after update.

I tried to change the version support number from qtranslate.php to 3.1.2. already before the latest update but the same thing happened. I had to revert it back to 3.1.1. and click through the error message in admin to get the forms back to work.

Is there something more complicated underlying in 3.1.2. Anyone else have the same problem?

NEVERMIND! It was a script in my funtions.php that messed up my admin! Thanks again for the quick update!

The beta version is identical to SVN trunk. I think you missed the topic.


Anyhow, I just donated a few bucks, hope Qian knows this is for developping on version 3.0 - because I'm really not happy by the fact that qtranslate v2 doubles page-load times. So with qtranslate deactivated, pages take 0.8sec on my server to generate (low load), but 1.5sec with qtranslate activated. There is no other plugin that I use, that takes anywhere close as much processing time (well the most expensive is the theme, which needs with qtranslate deactivated about 0.25secs in comparison to no theme).

I do hope other people using qtranslate donate 10-50€ depending on their sites importance to Qian too, I myself know how important such small donations are to keep you motivated and running. Cause all comments and posts in the long run, just work you out.

Hello, can anyone please tell me - what is the order of updating so that I don't lose translated posts? First Wordpress, then qTranslate, or first qTranslate, then Wordpress?

There is no update. So you don't loose anything either. Qtranslate 3.0 does not exist (yet). Post in relevant topics.

This sounds amazing. Will there be an option to also translate Tags? This would be lovely, I was thinking about extending QT by myself for that purpose, but maybe this is not what i have to do.

In order to not disturb the workflow while taggig, I'd suggest to leave the tag interface as "quick and dirty" as it is already and add an extra admin-page to make translating optional for Tags (Not all tags necesarily need translation, i think).
