hello forum,

Has anybody managed to install fckeditor and make it work with qTranslate? I tried, but the tabs for English and Portuguese (the languages I am using) disappear when I enable the plugin... I had to go back to default editor of wordpress.

I'm using it. the Tags go away, so instead Im using quicktacks everywhere.

FCUK the standard wordpress editor. Dean's fckeditor is much much better (and true What you see is what you get - unlike the standard editor which behaves like what you will still be formatted and is not what you get - no matter how many plugins you throw at it to stop that bullshit deleting of empty lines and similar).

I'm just enter in this forum to check fck editor trouble. But I see there's no solution instead of [:it] ... [:en].
Unfortunaly original WP editor is really restrictive and some tags (mostly formatting tags) are removed.

Merlinox what do you mean when you say "there's no solution instead of [:it] ... [:en]" ?

I tried inserting some [:it]text-1[/:it] and [:en]text-2[/:en] in html-mode, and it seems to work, but not all the users are able to go in the html-mode view

@aiutopc: it's a post two years old. I hope fck and qtranslate has been solved that trouble.
