Dear Qian Qin,
I hope in new version to support Rtl languages ( Arabic, Hebrew, Persian )
for example the menu and layout it will be like this
1- ( left layout ) menu in English like this : page1 page2 page3 page4
2- ( right layout ) menu must be in (Arabic, Hebrew, Persian) like this : page4 page3 page2 page1

This feature is very important I wish to take care about it

Many thanks

Thank you anyway for considering my proposals.

Your needs are exactly mine. Did you manage to solve the problem? Is it possible to send the patch to me?

side by side editing of languages would be nice. For example in version 2 you can see the title for each language, but you must select the language you want to edit the body for. It would be nice to be able to view the original language body while editing/writing the new language.

Different Widgets for each language

Postby hamako » Mon Jul 02, 2012 9:32 am

I have a website with three languages - English, Japanese and German. The separation works fine. However, I was not able to switch the language selection widget from the Primary (top) Sidebar to the Header Horizontal Widget Area in a side-by-side configuration, despite following the description in the Forum. The languages appeared "stacked" not in line.

Another feature, I would like to have is, being able to apply different WIdget sets to each language. For example, the PayPal payment button with dollars should only appear in the English pages, the Yen-based button in Japanese and the Euro-based button in German. I have tried to use the Plugin "Widget Logic". It appears correctly but does not have any function for the languages. If assigned as suggested by Widget Logic, the widget disappears.

I think this is an important function.

It would be nice to have the capability to set a header such as 404 or 302 for pages that are not translated. This way we would have better control over if the page was indexed or not by a search engine. After all, there is no point in indexing duplicate content that says it isn't available in %lang%
