Problem: Text becomes one block, without separations

Hi!

I have just started using qTranslate to create a version in English of my website. But I'm having a problem which is driving me nuts and I don't know how to fix. As soon as I start working on a page or posting to translate it into English, the text becomes one block, without paragraph separations. It happens with the original post (in Spanish) and the post in English version, and no matter how many times I include the spaces again and save the changes, it still comes un as one block.

Can anyone tell me how I can fix this?

i have the same Problem here with the plugin. i just cant add or work on any content text on my webside when the plugin is on. What is really a shame cause the plugin worked for me very good.
Also the Google XML Sitemaps with qTranslate makes problems it doesnt put the words in a block togheter but it is not allowing you if it is activated that you can make anykind of paragraph separations.
If any one knows a solution for that i would be happy to hear about.

I can confirm this behaviour. This is introduced with WP3.3 and the newest version of Qtranslate. I went back to Wordpress 3.2 because of this problem. I even made a short video to document the bug.

A workaround seems to be that you never update the page in the visual tab, but the html tab. As described in this short flashvideo.

Better solution would be a bugfix from Quian Qin though. I hope he reads this thread

This seems to be a longtime problem involving the Visual editor (TinyMCE) and qTranslate:
qTranslate trimming of <p> and <br/> Jun 2010 to Apr 2012

@Tiles: Does this mean you have now WP 3.2.1 and qTranslate 2.5.28 working perfectly without this bug? I have to evaluate if this is necessary also for a site of I admin (I use WP 3.3.1 and qT 2.5.28).

Hope also that we have a actual and working version of WP/qT shortly. This is a major problem! And WP 3.3.2 and 3.4 RC3 is out.

I run WP 3.21 running with 2.5.24 here now after the downgrade, that`s at least what the plugin page is telling me. 2.5.28 is for WP 3.3.1 from what i know.

I had no problem before WP 3.3. And i had tinymce installed too. Wordpress 3.3 introduced this problem. Just to prevent confusion. We are NOT talking about removing br and p tags here. That`s another issue.

I have not updated the WP version.
Is the problem, with the secondary languages in WP 3.4.x and qTranslate history?
