WordPress 3.5

I am delaying the update to WordPress 3.5 because of qTranslate plugin... when it is expected to be ready the new one? I do not want automatic deactivation of plugin because it does not support 3.5. Thank you in advance.

I'm still alive... I have been in China over Christmas (no computer) and right now I am moving and my ISP messed up, so I am stuck with 2 appartments without internet and phone. Bought an 3G-stick today. Will try to get 3.5 update asap. Sorry!

No problem. By the way, I have to go to Honk Kong at the end of January. As far as you know, do they have access to facebook in HK? I know there is not in China, but what's about HK?

Hello. HK doesn't block the access to Facebook, Twitter among others that are blocked in China. Hope that helps.

Dear Qian,

We are going to upgrade Wordpress to version 3.5 in this month.
But the work seems blocked by qTranslate because of some weird issues when we edit content in "Visual" or "HTML" mode.

We tried the qTranslate development version with Wordpress 3.5 but the issues are still existing.

We hope the cool qTranslate plugin will release a compatible version with Wordpress 3.5 soon, so we will able to upgrade Wordpress shortly.

It will be great if we can have a estimated timeline so we can plan our progress well.

Must have been a long Christmas - WordPress 3.5 came out on Dec 11. 2012, after tons of time to beta test and adjust your plugins and themes. Anyway, glad to hear, you are working on the new version. As has been mentioned by others, an approximate timeline would be great. I have some customers who will question the quality of _my_ service, if no update is available real soon!

^^ What he said. I have a client's website that desperately needs to be updated and I'm really not interested in hacking together a fix for this that may or may not work as expected. With over 675k downloads of this plugin I imagine there's more than a few people out there in the same boat. WP updates don't come as a surprise, there is plenty of lead time with betas and RCs.

I've sent two emails to the author with no response.

Can we please get an ETA on an update?
