Postby syad » Wed Feb 22, 2012 5:23 pm

Hi, I can't translate the checkout form fields (labels) in wp ecommerce.
I've searched everywhere but I can't find anything.... :(
It's very urgent, it's the last thing i need...
wordpress version: 3.2.1
qtranslate version: 2.5.24
wpec version: 3.8.7.4

Thanks....

Have you tried the smart tags? Check the FAQ

If those labels aren't internationalized, then you may need to edit the ecommerce plugin.

I think you should edit the .po/.mo files on the folder 'lang' or 'languages' of the wp-commerce plugin. Try find the .po and .mo files of the language you need translate. You will need a special software to edit that kind of files, like Poedit, is free, just google it.

It's strange, because this fields are in the .po files, so you have the possibility to translate them using poedit. But it's in vain, because already translated, they do not appear in the page like the other translated sentences.

Found this post about this that helped me solved this problem fine. Has nothing to do with qTranslate or other Multilang plugin, its a bug in the WPEC plugin.
